Can we apply a CSD to MQSeries and roll it back if we find that it does not solve our problem.
In other words what is the procedure to roll the back the system if applying a CSD doenst work. DO we need to make an back up of the system and restore it or can we just remove the CSD and not mess up the current system.

There is an option in the Start Programs to 'Remove Latest CSD'. I've never done it myself.

I have tried removing CSD`s on both Solaris and Windows it worked fine.

On Solaris:
Graceful shutdown of MQ
used pkgrm cmd

On Win 2000/NT:
Graceful shutdown of MQ
AS Bower suggested use the Remove Latest CSD'
