Hi,

I have installed certificates on z/OS with CA-ACF2.
All seam ok. The certificates are in keyring with Authority certificates.

But when i try to start my channel, i get this message on the receiver qmgr :

CSQX620E #MAF1 CSQXRESP System SSL error,
channel ????,
function 'gsk_secure_soc_init' RC=12

RC12 mean : Key label is not found. Explanation: The requested key label is not found in the key database or SAF key ring.

However, my certificates have label (ibmWebSphereMQXXXX) and are connect to keyring.

Does anyone have idea on this problem ?

Doesnt it have to be completely in lower case (including the qmgr name)? (It certainly does on distributed, not sure on z/OS)?

On z/OS, it must be ibmWebSphereMQQMGR and not all in lower case.

This may be a total red herring but........Could it be that ACF2 isn't set to handle mixed case? I know we had a problem with MQ objects in mixed case until we set ACF2 to handle mixed rather than just upper case. ACF2 was folding the case even though it appeared to be mixed in the definitions.

We use CA-ACF2 and the label is mixed case ( ibmWebSphereMQMAF1 in your case ).

If this is your first attempt at using ACF2 and SSL you might want to review your violation reports and/or run a sectrace to see if other ACF2 resource types are being validated.
