Do you want to install the DCE option? For this
option you must have DCE installed on your

having DCE installed on your platform will disable

I encountered similar problem once on solaris while applying CSD03 patch for MQ5.3. On opening the PMR with IBM the problem was resolved.
This is the error :
## Executing checkinstall script.
/var/tmp/dstreAAAG2aWcA/mqm-upd03/install/checkinstall: /var/tmp/dstreAAAG2aWcA/mqm-upd03/install/checkinstall: cannot open
pkgadd: ERROR: checkinstall script did not complete successfully
Installation of <mqm-upd03> failed.
No changes were made to the system.
I dont recollect the work around IBM gave. _________________ Sanvij

I see the error was in the mqlicense.sh script. Maybe the status.dat file was not created for this. You might want to create the file yourself with a touch command.
Code: |
touch /tmp/mq_license/license/status.dat |
Check out the failure on Linux, it should be the same. (run a search on this site )
Or you can run the command mqlicense.sh -accept |
