Hello,
Can anyone say if converting an application that currently runs MQServer to MQ Client in order to take advantage of the 64 bit client (on AIX in this case) would actually perform better than if they stayed 32 bit?
Oracle 9i is involved here, and I think that's what's driving the application to ask me for 64 bit libraries for MQ.
I also noticed that the 64 bit client (MACS) still supports the 5.2 api. Not 5.3. I'm really wondering what IBM's been doign in the what, 18, 24 months since 5.3 was released. Is the 5.3 client really that hard to recompile in 64 bit?
