Does pub/sub broker network allow a loop in the network?

E.g., A is B's parent, C is A's parent, B is C's parent.

Then, when the link between A and B is down, the pub/sub information can still be spreaded from another path.

Is it feasible?

I don't think that sort of loop is allowed in MQ pub/sub - you'll get a message like:
AMQ5833 A loop has been detected in the MQSeries message broker hierarchy.

It is normal in a WMQI broker collective though.

Correct me if anyone knows better - it's a while since I've used pub/sub.
Cheers,
Vicky
