Hi,
I want to know how to shut down mqseries in solaris. In NT i know we can stop the MQseries service in services . But how to do in SUN box.
I would appreciate any help.

You have to stop the QMGR(s).
Use endmqm to stop the queue manager.
To list all the QMGRs use dspmq |

And if you don´t want to start the MQseries at system reboot, you can move the rc files to another file system, look into /etc/init.d/rc2.d/mqseries.
