Limiting MQClient SVRCONN connections in z/OS MQ

Does anyone have an exit that will run on z/OS MQ that will control the number of maximum connections for an MQClient SVRCONN channel?

There is a support pack for windows ME71 that has support for this, but it would be a stretch to get it to work in z/OS MQ environment.

If anyone has an exit or suggestion for limitting the maximum number of connections to any given SVRCONN MQClient channel, please share it.

I didn't post it twice to get more responses. I inadvertently posted it first in Java/JMS. I intended to post it to General MQ discussion. Now I'm not sure how to delete the one in JMS.
