I would assume that this is a one time problem. But if it is repeatable on a regular basis, i would first try to reboot the system. Because more likely cause of this one could be corrupted memory on your O/S rather than MQ. And sure does sound like more of a win2k Problem. As you might have experienced this a many number of times with other apps. Hopefully you would get around by rebooting the system.
Cheers.

Hi Venkat Kurra,
you should check if mqm.dll and other needed dll are in the path.
If not, add this to the path. Normally there is no reboot necessary (Win2k). The next logon has this setting.
I've got a similar error by adding a remote qmgr to the mmc. The changed path variable solved this.
Bye,

Ensure you have no amq*.dll nor mq*.dll outside the mqm\bin directory, eg in the windows\system32. Then, try the latest service, since these get frequently fixed. Also, look for FDC files created at the same time.
If the problems persists, enable dr watson (drwtsn32 -i), and after the trap look at the drwtsn32.log file for the string "fault ->", and then the call stack just below it would help indicate why the trap occurred or if its a known problem. (You also need to indicate release and fixpack level) |
