Hello,
I am unable to run mqlicense.sh on RedHat 9.0.
The OS kernel is : 2.4.20-8.
GLIBC: 2.3.2.

Here is the log when I run ./mqlicense.sh -accept:

./mqlicense.sh: line 132: 16908 Segmentation fault ${JRE?} -cp ${LAPCLASSPATH?} com.ibm.lex.lapapp.LAP -l ${PROGPATH?}/lap/licenses -s /tmp/mq_license ${STATUSARG} ${DISPLAYARG}

ERROR: Installation will not succeed unless the license
agreement can be accepted.

If the error was caused by a display problem,
read the license agreement file in the 'License'
directory, and then run the following command:

mqlicense.sh -accept

Only use this command if you accept the license
agreement.

For other errors, contact your IBM support centre.

Is there any solution to this problem?
When searched on internet,
I got the following fix:
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5.

with this, I am able to accept the licanse, but I am not sure is it a real fix or not.

As I said here, doing this has been successful for me on RedHat AS 2.1. I've been able to create, start, connect to, and use a Queue Manager (and even get WBIMB running).

The referred thread also suggests using a different JVM instead. But I didn't try that.
