Hi,

I have install my WBI_MB 5.0 Broker Software with CSD 01 on AIX. I have create a Broker. When I want to start the Broker I have the following error:

WebSphere MQ queue manager running.
BIP8805E: No license installed for this copy of WebSphere MQ Integrator.
No Production license has been installed for this copy of WebSphere MQ Integrator.
A valid Production license must be installed before the WebSphere MQ Integrator product can be run, ensure that the product installation completed successfully.

What must I do

In the "After installation" section of the Readme.html file, it documents that you need to run the mqsisetcapacity command to indicate how many processors you have bought licences for. Have you run the mqsisetcapacity command?

Can you take a look in your var/mqsi/config directory. Do you see files with names (or similar) to ANY_5724E26_5.0_001.LIC ???

The LIC files should have been copied from your Install CD during the installation process. How did you install your WBI product? When you mounted the CD did you the setupaix file as SETUPAIX or setupaix?? Or did you copy the contents of the CD to a file system and then run it from there?

In theory you could copy the LIC files from the install CD into this directory. However, if these were not copied from the install CD during installation, then you might be missing other key files which will impact you, so I would not suggest this at this stage. Could you answer the questions above, on how you installed the product? Thanks.

When the install CD was mounted such that its shows SETUPAIX then this will cause problems with your installation. You may find you cannot mount your CD such that you get extended filenames with the correct permissions (and such that you cannot execute setupaix). If this is the case then you should contact you IBM support centre.

Where did you get the good image of the install media?

I am trying to install WBIMB 5.0 CSD01 and have encountered the same problem. When we received our distribution media, ALL the files were in Upper Case. I took it upon myself to copy everything to disk and rename all files with lower case, hoping, that no upper case letters would be mixed in... Sadly, I was mistaken.

Thanks.

You should really be installing CSD02.

Thanks. I should have know that. Once I get the install media, I will make sure that we have CSD02. Also, I just found out who in my organization has access to the Passport Advantage site, so getting the install image should not be a problem...

On a slightly more detailed note, I think that the issue that we have encountered has to do with some of the files on the install media were either mixed cas or uppercase. When I manually changed everything to lower case, I clobbered some names that should have be mixed/upper. Thoughts? any ideas on which files these may be. (Meanwhile, I am working on getting a fresh copy of the image...
