Hello,
While installing MQSeries on A.S., I got the following problem.
mqlicense.sh -accept
Agreement accepted: Proceed with install.
rpm -ivh MQSeriesRuntime-5.3.0-1.i386.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
which: no uudecode in (/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin)
The program uudecode was not found on this system. This will not prevent
the installation, however you should run the command "amqiclen -x"
after the installation has completed, before queue managers are started.
Can anybody please tell, what is this uudecode and why it is required?
It is the requirement for installing MQSeries?
And if I run amqiclen -x before starting queue manager, will this work fine?
