Hi,

I have one table in that table I have three fields. I want to get the one column (field) distinct values using ESQL. Pls advoice how can I achive this.

FOR EXAMPLE:

TABLE

EMPNO EMPNAME DEPARTMENT

001 XXX ACC
002 YYYY MIS
003 ZZZZ CUSE
004 ABC ACC
005 BCD MIS

In the above example I need distinct DEPARTMENT.

i dont think distinct is supported in ESQL (WMQI2.1)
