WMQI includes brokers creation, modification and delete. This broker is WMQ broker.
WBIMB is a kind of broker, and you also can create message flows, message templates, and so on.
Why there are two kinds of brokers?
thanks in advance |

WBIMB is the followon to WMQI... currently they co-exist (like NT, W2000, XP and ...)

Do you mean WMQ broker is as same/similar as WBIMB?
Why in WBIMB manual, it teachs you how to migrate WMQ broker to WBIMB? If there are same, it is not necessary to migrate one to the other. |

No. The Product "WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker, v5.0" is the direct successor to the product "WebSphere MQSeries Integrator, v2.1".
They are not the same. One is older, and is being replaced by the newer.
That is why the newer product includes instructions on how to migrate from the older product. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

The product "WebSphere Business Integration Event Broker" is a replacement for the product "WebSphere MQSeries Event Broker".
The product "WebSphere MQSeries Event Broker" was an optimized version of the Pub/Sub broker that is part of "WebSphere MQSeries Integration Broker".
WBIMB includes WBIEB - to provide the same functionality as WMQI did - but you can still buy WBIEB without getting the integration features of WBIMB. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
