Hi All,

I am trying to insert some UTF-8 chars [Arabic data] onto db2 [Version 7.2 Fixpak 7 on Win 2k] database using compute node. But when data inserted is not arabic but some junk chars. I can however insert arabic data using command windows of DB2 and it works fine. But not through compute node.

Any idea what could be wrong

I am using 1208 code pages for both DB and MQSeries on Windows 2000 machine. I tried the same with 1256 code page also.

am having problem in envisioning your entire set-up, so based my assumption. Here are couple of things

1. Check the supported Characer Code for DB2
2. TRACE the content that youre trying to write - check for the content and Character Conversion Code

Can you post the ESQL of compute, thats writing to DB ?
