Hello,
I am new to MQ series. I am trying to install MQ Series v5.2 on my laptop which has win-xp pre installed. I am having problems installing it.
I have 2 questions
1) Is it possible to install v5.2 on win xp? If yes how?
2) I am learning MQ workflow programming on my own. for that i need the installation local on my laptop. I will not be accessing MQ Server over intranet only on localhost. Is it possiblt to achieve this?

I didn't think that MQ 5.2 ran on Windows XP. However, even if it did, it is now out of support. You'd do well to move forward to WMQ 5.3.

You should be able to install WMQ and WMQ WorkFlow on the same machine. My co-worker has both installed on her laptop and uses them all the time.
