Hi,
Can somebody let me know how to create a compund type that has an other compound type in a message set . I have a comput type ABC which has two some elements now i want a compund type XYZ which has the compound type ABC like
First create compound Type ABC with elements A1,A2. Now by default u get the type composition as ordered set and type content as open.
Now, for compound type DEF, u change the type composition as Sequence. Now u rightclick the DEF compound type and add-->Compound type option. From that u should be able to add the compound type ABC.AND THEN u can add-->Elemets individually.
The "Working with Messages" Manual is very useful for creating Message Sets.
The important point is that (In v2.x) you can only add compound types directly to a parent compound type with type composition = sequence or choice.
Any other type composition will only allow elements to be added as children.
