If you post specific questions, you may get some help here. We have some users of the Modeler and Monitor tools. _________________ John McDonald

Hi Mahesh
we just got a copy of Modeler and Monitor. Can you please point any step by step instructions to set up an environment (Test,Dev) for installing and configuring workbench monitor. We asked IBM to help us in this but the process is too slow for us as we are supposed to start the project asap. Any info/pointers will be very much helpful.
Thanks

Hi there,
Just wondering if there is any document like support pac WD01( Business Process Modelling document) for WBI workbench Modeler. I know WD01 explains everything basing on Buildtime. I am looking for a similar document for Modeler with step by step instructions to design process flows. Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Adi,
There is one redbook which explains how to use WBI modeler and monitor.
It is written for older version of WBI called HOLOSOFX. Installation and configuration steps has changed in the new version. But for understanding and building the model and for monitoring this book is good.
here is the link,
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg246590.pdf
when u buy the product, u will have the selfextracting file. when u install it, it will install the product as well as pdf's which will guide u to configure the monitor.
hope this will help

hi
i suggest start with workbench installation and go thru the documentation. particularly, u can try testing the samples available with installation. then go for monitor along with workflow. i suggest going with the new version of monitor (424) as there are changes in look and feel along with the features.
regards
