Hi All,
env: WMQ5.3+WBI2.1(Cluster serverMachine)
In MQSI pub/sub model.when the subscribers sends messages on topic. The application gives the Queue name in which it wants to receive the publication messages.
Here i have on doubt,if the subscriber is the remote machine have only MQseries .
How the typical Pub/sub model will be designed.
1.Whether the subscribtion queue will be the local queue on the subscribers?
If we create the Message flow we will have the Output Queue(for which sub subscribes)..if it will a local Queue on
the Subscriber Machine.?What need to be done? who message flow to Local Queue?any channels need to be defined?
2.Does it required to configure any commucation chennal between the MQSI running machine and subscribers?
3.if the Client aslo wants to Put the messages in his Local Queue and wants to Move to the Publisher input Queue(env : WMQServer+WBIBroker2.1 set up)
in the Message flow....what set up need to be done.??does he need to define the Remote Queue definition for the Input Queue in the client Machine.
It's a basic MQSeries networking question - "How do I configure MQSeries to move a message from one place to another".
And the answer is, the same way you do this in every other instance: in point-to-point messaging, in pub/sub messaging, in request/reply messaging.
Publish/Subscribe messages are just messages.
If your remote application is on a QM that's in the same MQ cluster with your broker QM, you only have to set the Queue name and the Queue Manager Name. Otherwise you have to do something to create a connection between the two QMs. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
