Hi,
As part of my assignment, I need to import a cobol copy book and map it to an outgoing XML message.
Also in the copy book I need to replace '-' with an 'underscore' ('_') for the XML message.
I will give my copy book soon... Do anyone have experience in importing a copybook. Let me know if there is a pdf i can go through.
Thanks in advance. |

You can use Control Center to import a Copybook into MRM message set. After you do this, you can model your input/output messages based on the fields defined by the copybook. When importing a copybook into message set, WMQI will replace all '-' with '_' in Copybook Element names by default.
You can then write simple ESQL statements to transform your COBOL message to XML format. Also, take a look at Working With Messages pdf manual, which explains CWF wire format. _________________ Kiran
