Hi,
I am getting error while connecting QManager thro Java application program. I am able to put message thro amqsputc script but not able to get connection thro java appli'n.
Later i come to know that i had specified the host as MQEnvironment parameter thats why i was getting the error. QManager and client are both on the same m/c. What was the reason ...???, i should not specify the host IP address in MQEnvironment if Server and Client are running on same m/c..???.. _________________ Thanks and Regard's

If you have the qmgr on the same machine, you need to ask what type of connection you were trying to achieve - Server connection (fast) or client (slower as goes via a socket). If server, you dont supply the host, all we need is the qmgr name, if client then you need host, channel, port, qmgr etc |
