Hi Folks,

I will be getting messages from Siebel and i need to associate the message id to correlation id in WMQI. how do i do that.

I am using this one and it worked for me

SET "OutputRoot"."MQMD"."CorrelId" = "InputRoot"."MQMD"."MsgId";

but i am not sure whether this would hold good in all the scenario's.

do we have to cast if i want to say

SET Environment.Variables.correlID = "InputRoot"."MQMD"."MsgId";

and in my final compute node

SET "OutputRoot"."MQMD"."CorrelId" = Environment.Variables.correlID ;

Please let me know. I opted for the first one for the time being. but not sure how efficient is that.

If your correl-id is not getting changed in your message flow, then I'd prefer the first option.
