Can someone tell me how i can resuse a message flow that i have defined. Is it just simple wiring internally using Commnad center or does my new flow have to send message to it.
In case my original flow changes, do i have to rewire all new flows using it or it is taken care of automatically. |

In order to create a subflow, you have to replace all MQInput nodes with InputTerminal nodes, and all MQOutput nodes with OutputTerminal nodes.
Then you can drag the flow from the list of flows (in the Deveoper view) onto another flow, and it will appear as a single node, with connection points that correspond to each Input and Output terminals.
If you change a subflow, it will get updated in all instances (that are relevant) the next time it gets deployed to the broker. So if you do a delta deploy to an execution group, and you have copies of your subflow in another execution group then they won't get updated (I think). But if you do a delta deploy to the broker, then all copies in the broker will get updated.
Otherwise, you can use queues to connect two flows together. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
