This supportpac comes with both local and client executables. I typically enter the client command "qc -oTESTQ" and a ">" prompt displays . I then manually have to enter #200/1024"(#messages/bytes). Does anyone know a way to run this command from the command line (specifying # of messages/# of bytes)?

Also, On solaris 8 when I run the command locally"q -0 TESTQ -m qmgrname" I get "lpstat: illegal option -- m". Anyone run across this and have workaround?

1. you can pipe that information to q program (e.g. echo "#200/1024" | qc -oTESTQ)

2. it shouldn't have happened ... are you sure you're using capital "o" for output param? Try avoiding blanks between -m and qmname

Both suggestions did not work. Any other ideas?
