I have seen many question about JMS and segmentation but no answers. Does JMS API current compliancy requirements have message segmentation as a required functionality. Or does it give you some variables and say roll your own methods. I know IBM MQ Java classes can, wanting to know if JMS can be used similarly.
e.g. Can JMS API be used to auto segment messages > 100MB and recieve them as well.

Yes and you'll have to program it. It is called message grouping. JMS does not support segmentation out of the box. Haven't checked if it changes with V7 though _________________ MQ & Broker admin
