Hi

I need to write a message exit on z/OS (in C). I started with compiling the samples provided by IBM (CSQ4BCX1 and CSQ4BCX2 from MQM.SCSQC37S). Bad luck - they abend with 0C7 (Data exception) and bring the channel initiator down. I have done some tests on my own, but they abend (data or protection exception)

Is there any working, public-domain, message exit example for z/OS? I just need a sample to see how to access the MQMD of the message being sent/received.

Thanks in advance for any help

The Support Pac MA06 (The MSGMON exit) works fine on z/OS (with a little modifications).
