This looks like APAR IY32946 (which I couldn't find on the web):
Quote: |
XC023005 from xcsConvertString.
The trace shows that the initial buffer size passed into MQGET
was too small for the message, and MQGET returned 2080,
TRUNCATED_MSG_FAILED. The get was retried with the buffer size
changed to the message length passed back from the MQGET. This
failed with 2119, NOT_CONVERTED. The channel code than retried
the conversion outside the MQGET with the conversion output
buffer size doubled, and this succeeded in converting the data.
The FFST is produced when iconv() returned E2BIG during the
second MQGET.
1. 'Resource temporarily unavailable' is the description of
of E2BIG.
2. iconv() fails because even though 932 and 5035 are DBCS the
data expands on conversion as can be seen where iconv() does
succeed; the converted output buffer length is 98210, greater
than the original output length of 97876.
The FFST is produced in error in this case; the intention
in the code is not to produce the FFST where iconv() returns
E2BIG.

The date on it October 2002. Does the above sound like what you are doing? |
