Hi,
The Environment:
------------------------
My MQServer ver 5.3.02 is installed on Windows 2000 with service pack 3. RAM available is 1 GB and hard disk capacity is 80 GB. I have 588 user defined local queues with persistence ON. I have a server sonnection channel setup with default values. This MQServer is installed on a public Static IP.
My client is a Java program installed at various locations spread across the country that connect to the MQServer on a public IP. The clients use dial -up connectivity approx 54 Kbps. I do not have MQClients installed but the required jar files are bundled and are used by the client program.
The Problem:
---------------------
My Queue Manager goes down frequently ....once a week. I had a look at the error logs and these are a few common issues logged:
3) AMQ6184: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred on queue manager MSGSVR.
4) AMQ9208 Error on receive from host &3.
5) a strange issue: My Queue manegr was up and running, so were all the services associated ---the listener, channel initaitor, cmd server. My server connection channel was also up and running . But the client programs were unable to connect and the RC Code was MQRC_CONNECTION_BROKEN with CC 2. The internet connectivity was up.
Can you suggest a few pointers or a sloution that I should focus on so that my Queue Manager uptime is 100% and my clients can always connect to the Queue Manager and interact smoothly.
