Hi all,
I am newbie to monitoring tools. I am originally a workflow person.
For one of my projects I need some kind of monitoring tool that can monitor a queue and let the system administrator know about the status of that queue (like q depth). I am learning lot about monitoring tools thru this forum. I understand that there are so many monitoring tools in the industry (like Q Pasa, Candle, BMC Patrol, Tivoli...etc), which can serve my purpose. I am just wondering, are there any manuals or books related to each specific tool (like for Q Pasa, overview of the tool, installation, user's guide...etc).
Can someone please shower some links to learn more about each specific tool.
Thanks in advance,
Snan. |

Each of these products you mention are made by different software vendors. Each of these software vendors have a website. If a particular vendor has chosen to make the manual for their product available publicly, then it will more than likely be available at their website. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I'm really busy until the end of next week, so I hope it's not a problem for you to wait until then. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Go to www.google.com, and just type in the names you mentioned.
You gotta put a little effort into this... _________________ Peter Potkay
