Hi all,
We have been trying to configure MQWF 3.4 on Windows 2000 with DB2 7.2. We tried configuring on three machines. And we are facing the same error everywhere.

Hey,
I am getting the same kind of error. I am trying to setup:
MQ Workflow 3.4 with
Websphere MQ 5.3
DB2 7.1 with FP3
Windows NT
Websphere MQ is working fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Snan. |

There is the problem. DB2 7.2 doesn't work with WMQ5.3 To get it to work, you need to download a new switch file.
The other solution is to use DB2 8.1 |

Hi Venny,
What do you mean by new switch file.
Please be more elaborate on that.
And so MQ 5.3 , DB2 7.2 and MQWF 3.4 wont work together?
Thanks

Hi Venny,
I dont know what you meant by

May be i am missing something.
But I have had installed MQ5.3, DB2 7.2, and MQWF 3.4 with SP3 before.
And had no problems.
Also I was able to solve the problem I had earlier by creating a local user id that matches the domain user id. DB2 needs it for some reason.
Thanks
