Hello,

I want to know if there is somethings special to do if I migrate from MQseries 5.2 to 5.3. on HP-UX

Must I deinstall first the 5.2 version or can I update the soft with the 5.3 version.

Do all my Queue Manager runs with the 5.3 version , so are there 100% compatible.

In the past when upgrading to MQ 5.2 we performed a saveqmgr and then deleted the Queue Manager before uninstalling the 5.2 software. Once installed we created the Queue Manager and aded the saveqmgr file.

We took this approach because we experienced some problems on NT during the upgrade.

This approach has been taken forward for 5.3 on NT and solaris.
