Hi all,
I'm using MQSeries 5.2 for Linux, which I obtained on
IBM's Developer Tool Box for Linux Software Evaluation
Kit CDs(LCD4-5561-01)
I'm also writing J2EE trial programs on WebSphere AS
ASSE V4.0 on RedHat Linux7.2.
MQ Server, WebSphere and Java client program are all
running in the same IA-32 box.
I kept getting 2009 error in client program using MQ
base Java, only from time to time though. First, I
found out one of the Java classes didn't disconnect
from the queue when exiting. I suspect the connections
remain until the garbage collection runs and this
might have caused the connection flood.
I haven't modified the mq.ini file, so I believe
everything is set to default.
I fixed the bad class so that it disconnects from the
queue every time it exits, and it looks like it's
working out for the moment. But I'm not at all sure
if this will really solve the problem.
I see "default number of maximum channels is 100"
here and there, while it looks like the 2009 error
occurs even before 100 "bad class" instances are
created.
I hope someone has good tips for this! _________________ PowersOfTen

I'll give my standard 2009 answer. Make sure that you have the latest MQ CSD. There have been changes in this area and you'll need one of the later CSDs to get them. |
