Hi,
We are going to use MQRFH2 header to be able to transport XML data within it,
the doc recommend to use ccsid=1208 for the xml data,
but what does happen at the receiving end platform when getting the xml data coded with the UTF-8 code?
do we need to have MQGET with or without convert?
what we want is to get the xml data within the MQRFH2 header as they were put at the sending end!
thanks for help about that,
Jack |

If the receiving end understands an RFH2, which (to my knowledge) is only JMS, then no, this is converted for you automatically when the message is received.
If the receiver is not JMS, then you will need to do a GET with convert, which will convert the RFH2 (because it is part of the payload) so that your application can read the RFH2 itself. But, the 'folders' within the RFH2 will still be 1208.
