Im using Vb 6.0 to connect to a remote MQ Series queue & get messages, I can get messages the first time but for the next couple of times I get the same responses even if I change the request. Why would this happen, is there a way to delete a message from the queue once we have retrieved it.

There are options that specify you want to browse the message when you do the get. I would guess that you have one of these specified.
