I have a WMQI V2.1 System On Solaris that includes a UserNameServer. The problem is that even though it is running, it has not opened the SYSTEM.BROKER.SECURITY.QUEUE for input. Thus messages are filling it up.
Here are the defs for the Queue and the Authorities that the User who is running the UNS posesses for that queue.
wmqi@numpty> dspmqaut -m USERNAMEQMGR -n SYSTEM.BROKER.SECURITY.QUEUE -t q -p wmqi
Entity wmqi has the following authorizations for object SYSTEM.BROKER.SECURITY.QUEUE:
get
browse
put
inq
set
crt
dlt
chg
dsp
passid
passall
setid
setall
clr
wmqi@numpty> runmqsc USERNAMEQMGR

Starting MQSC for queue manager USERNAMEQMGR.
The thing that is worrying me is the amount of CPU time that the bipuns process is using. It is also logging a lot of BIP8286E error messages due to Unix Users on the system as I posted a couple of weeks ago.
Sep 17 10:56:56 numpty WMQIv210[5850]: [ID 702911 user.error] (UserNameServer)[6]BIP8286E: Error in Operating System call getgrgid for user: superhacker. : UserNameServer.agent: /build/S210_P/src/UserGroup/NativePrincipals/Unix/ImbNativeUGRegistry.cpp: 205: ImbNativeUGReg
The BIP8286E message may be a red herring...
Can any reader solve this dilema?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
