Does anyone know the groups to which you are supposed to assign the AIX user id that owns the database objects (tables, tablespaces, schemas etc.) for the NNSY database? The NNSY documentation is a bit unclear on this. (AIX v. 5.1, WMQI v. 2.1, DB2 v. 7.1).
I've never had any problems with this one, I understand that when you install a NNSY BD it generates the schema etc and it is owned by the userid that you specify interactively when running inst_db.sh as the schema owner, this will create the user and set the authorisations within the DB. This user does not need to be an AIX ID. It's a database ID.
The runtime user (AIX ID) that the broker executed under will need to have the nnsyreg.dat file in their path such that it can retrieve the DB id details and access the schema.
