Hi,
I'm running MQ Series 5.2 on a Windows 2000 platform.

I have setup my queues to allow for triggering and also create the
appropriate initiation queue. (just another local queue)

I find that I have to start the trigger monitor on both the server
and clients manually with the commands runmqtrm and runmqtmc.

How can I change my clients and servers to automatically start the trigger
monitor on startup? Is there a service that I can configure?

To test whether my trigger is running I added a process definition with
an application identifier of "net send localhost trigger ran". In the
runmqtrm window a whole lot of other data is displayed after the
command that the trigger runs, won't this extra data cause problem when
running programs that take command line paramaters? How can I prevent this
data from appearing?

Thanks
Jason

Have a look at supprt pack MA7K, this is a trigger monitor service. You can download it at : http://www-3.ibm.com/software/integration/support/supportpacs/individual/ma7k.html

Just the same thing........... read the readme.txt. and the ini file. You only have to adjust 2 or 3 characters I believe to have it work on the server side....

Good Luck

You can also put runmtmc or runmqtrm into batch files and have them run at Startup using Scheduled Tasks in Win2000.
