I am receiving data from an IBM4690 Point of Sale (POS) system and I am loking for suggestions on how to convert the data using MQSI 2.1.

We have a separate charcater byte that has the sign. An example of packed data I'm receiving is as follows:

Packed Date: 20030904 4 bytes
Packed Store: 2102 2 bytes
Packed Qty: 000010 3 bytes
Sign Byte 0 Not Packed Character Data
Packed ProdCode 111111 3 bytes

Qty, Sign, and ProdCode can repeat and a colon is used for end of transaction.

One thought for the packed data was to bump through the string and preface a three to each number to get the numeric data into hex format.

I'm very new to using the integrator and any help would be greatly appreciated.
