Hi,
I'm doing a test, where I first stopped the remote Q manager. Then sent a message to the remote Q using a JMS application. After that, I did a display qstatus command on the transmit Q, shows follwoing -
QUEUE(TRANSMIT.Q1) IPPROCS(0)
OPPROCS(0) CURDEPTH(1)
UNCOM(YES)
First question, why does it say UNCOM(YES)?
Secondly, how can I remove the messages from the transmit Q using runmqsc command. I tried running clear qlocal(TRANSMIT.Q1), but that doesn't work. I give this command when the jms app is not connected to the local q manager.
Thanx |

Since Op/Ipprocs doesnt show any one connected to this app and Uncom says yes, it points us to say that there was a put/get being performed within Syncpoint. And most likely the transaction just stayed there and never got completed. Depending upon platform you should check the system/Transaction co-ordinator error logs to see what happened to that trasnaction.
If none works, then only option would be to recycle the qm.
Cheers
