I have a message from that takes a message from an MQInput Node, Formats the message to XML and the writes the message to a Queue using the DesitinationList.

When I look at the message on the destination queue, the putdate and puttime appear to the timestamp from the input queue and not the date and time that the msg was written to the destination queue. I even tried initializing the mqmd.putdate and mqmd.puttime to ' ' before I write the msg out to the destination list.

I've pre-load the input queue with the flow off anf then let it run several minutes later and the timestamp I see it prior to time I actually turn the flow on.

Anyone know why SI is not generating a current timestamp?

Hi,

In your MQOutput node, what is the Message Context field set to? If this is the default of 'Pass All', then this will mean that the context fields in the MQMD will be set from the values in the Input message. PutDate and PutTime are context fields and therefore this would apply to these fields. If it is Pass All, then you have to choose a context that matches your requirements. If you wish to set these yourself in the message flow, then you can use Set All, or if your want the queue manager to generate them then set this to Default.
