Hi,

These are the details.Can you figureout a way to get rid of this BIP error .

OS: Windows2000
MQ: 5.1,MQSI 2.0.1, CSD06 (U2000189.EXE) ,MA88
DB26.5


QM: WMQI01
Broker: WMQI01
Configmgr DB: WMQICMDB, WMQIMRDB
BrokerDB: WMQIBKDB
And created ODBC User ID’s
Serviceid: mqsiuid (added to all necessary groups)
Servicepwd: mqsipw


Created QM: WMQI01

Created ConfigMgr:
mqsicreateconfigmgr -i mqsiuid -a mqsipw -q WMQI01 -n WMQICMDB -m WMQIMRDB

- ConfigMgr Database Name: WMQICMDB
- ConfigMgr Database User ID: mqsiuid
_ ConfigMgr Database Password: mqsipw
_ MRM ODBC Data Source Name: WMQIMRDB
_ MRM Data Source User ID: mqsiuid
_ MRM Data Source Password: mqsipw

Created Broker: WMQI01

mqsicreatebroker WMQI01 -i mqsiuid -a mqsipw -q WMQI01 -n WMQIBKDB

_ Broker ODBC Data Source Name: WMQIBKDB
_ Broker Data Source User ID: mqsiuid
_ Broker Data Source Password: mqsipw

Now I start Broker and Configmgr.
Start the control center by giving Sytem name, Port, QM.
It gives me BIP1350E ERROR and once I click OK it takes me to blank Control center screen.
From now on if I click any thing it gives me BIP error and it takes a long time.

From my above steps can any one help me fix the problem.

Is the configuration manager definately running? This seems to suggest that the control centre is commiunicating with the target queue manager but is not getting a response message back from the configmgr. Is there anything else of interest in the event log?
