Hi,
I have created all MQ objects. And QM and channels are running
Created Configmgr, Broker. And they are running.
From Control center when I try to log on using System Name: Home, Port: 1414, QueueMgr: QM1
It is not connecting. After some time it gives an
Error: BIP1350E: The current operation is timed out.
It says there is no reply from ConfigMgr. (I have startd-using mqsistart)
Is there any object locked? I have to unlock?
Thanks

It would show as Inactive for 2 reasons. It will only be active when the connection is made. And that isn't the channel that the Control Center uses.
Can you ping 'Home', as that's your host name.
Are there any errors in the MQ error logs.

Hi,
If you get the BIP1350E error message I believe that implies that the Control centre has successfully connected to the configMgrs queue manager and has sent a request to it. The BIP1350E is indicating that it did not get a reply from the configMgr in the timeframe it expected one. This would confirm that your queue manager, objects and listener are running correctly and it is actually the configMgr service itself that has not started correctly.
You may find that after you issued the mqsistart configMgr command that the configMgr did not start successfully. Can you check your Windows Event Viewer Application Log and see if you have any error messages from the configMgr startup.
If you do see errors and cannot determine what the cause of the error is, can you paste a copy of the error messages in this thread. _________________ Regards
