Hi,
I have two QMGRs installed on NT 4 machines (a workstation and a server). The sender channel from server to workstation wasn't able to get running. In the error log files I found AMQ9209 etc. error.
I solve the problem looking at the Service Pack version installed on the workstation, the 6 one. That was the issue.
In order to have all running, it's necessary to install the 6a version of the Service Pack or (!) downgrade to the 5 Version. |

I understood that the base Service Pack 6 for Windows NT was horribly buggy, and should not be used at all, and that if you were going to go to a service pack level after 5, you should use Service Pack 6a or later.
So I'm not suprised that Service Pack 6 caused issues with MQ. |

If it helps, the main issues in the original service pack 6 where in the IP stack, which actually caused things such as Notes to stop working! 6a was mainly a set of fixes to this. _________________ Colin Renouf |
