This whole setup is really confusing me some time..some time i think I'm doing it right and when i actually starts doing it...it seems like not possible

Machine A - WAS 5.0 ND + Embedded Client + Deployment Manager }
Machine B - WAS 5.0 ND + Embedded Client } Both machines are in Cluster

Machine c - WebSphere MQ v5.3 + MA0C

and using the Deployment Manager console -> Resources -> WebSphere MQ JMS Provider - I configured Topic Connection factories and Topic Destinations

I have restarted the WAS on both the machine and also Deployment manager

BUT i cant see JNDI names when i run dumpnamespace under Deployment Manager....just for the heck i also checked under WAS servers also its not even there

Pl Help....AM I doing the right way

Thanx
- Dave

Just as a preliminary response,

not sure if you know, but the embedded JMS server is quite limited. It can be used locally, by other WSAS + embedded JMS servers, but that's really it.

But for connecting to another machine, I'm having similar issues not detecting the JNDI resource correctly. So far, per a configuration guide, it says if you don't have full MQ on the same box, WSAS-JMS has no way of connecting to a full MQ. See the config guide on limitations of the embedded JMS server.

I'm still looking to correctly use a QCF from MQ sitting on another machine.

Thanks, Linus
