Hi,
I have an external program which calculates the business days depending on the inputs from the workflow.
I can call that program through an activity, which can be implemented by java or by UPES. Which one is optimistic and which one is better when there are large number of instances.
If guessl Java API’s are best. But in java we need to get the execution server handle and call the program. In UPES it will be taken care by Workflow Engine.

Any inputs will be appreciated.

Mahesh,
I believe UPES implementation is the best, but you still have to write the UPES (that can be java).
