We have WAS 4.0.3 running on Solaris and MQ Series V5.2 installed. For some stange reason, we are seeing a large latency for the message listener. But, when we run the same program under a batch mode using plain java classes the message listener is able to pick up the messages quickly.

A Servlet starts a new thread which inturns starts a message listener and once the listener starts its job is to sit there and wait for incoming messages to perform further processing. The time take between the message arrival and the triggering of onMessage() seem to be long.

Is there anything in WAS or MQ Series for Java configuration that we can set to decrease this wait interval ?
