Hi,

I'm new to MQ and am trying to install MQSI v5.0 and use the default config from the Studio welcome screen.

It generates an error saying that it cannot communicate with the Queue Manager (Error 2009). However the queue manager is up and running and listening on the correct port.

I am running DB2 v8.1, MQ5.3.0.1 and Win2K.

The error 2009 could be a known problem with MQ 5.3 running on Windows that happens 'sometimes'.

Try addding an environment variable: MQNOREMPOOL=1 and reboot.
