Don't forget to set up some automation to clean up linear logs files that are no longer required for recovery, otherwise MQ will eventually fill up the disk.
For this burdensome reason, most companies forgo the media recovery feature that linear logging provides, and just use circular logging. _________________ Glenn |

Use one of the support packs for this task. My preferred one is MS0L to achieve archiving of linear logs. You will then need an OS task to clear the archive older than x days...  _________________ MQ & Broker admin
