No change control at your site huh? That is what takes the time at our site. We can get a queue manager up and going in a few hours in a sandbox environment....but it takes a week or so to get the paperwork approved for the 'production' environments. Having said that....I am a long time MVS System programmer so I understand these things. If you are an MQ Admin that has just met z/OS it will take a lot longer. As with most thing it depends on your knowledge and your site
