Dear all
I used MQServer 5.3 fixed pack 9 and all installed on Window 2003 server platform.
I have two machine A and B were configured to using Loab Balancing model.
On machine A and B, I installed two Queue Manager ( exactly same together ) called X. I want when my app put message to queue on manager X , the message will send to queue remote name Y.LCLQ on remote manager named Y was installed on machine named C
Quote: |
on Queue Managers X (2 machine)
Transmission queue : X.TSMQ
sender channel : X.TO.Y (
TCP/IP
Connection name: 10.2.223.1
Transmission queue :X.TSMQ
Local Communicate address: 10.2.3.10
(other : 10.2.3.11)
)
REMOTE QUEUE : Y.RMTQ(
Remote queue name =Y.LCLQ
Remote queue Manager =Y
transmission queue =X.TSMQ
)
|
on Queue Manager Y
Quote: |
Local queue Y.LCLQ
RECEIVER Channel : X.TO.Y
|
when system running. On machine A my app put a message MSG1 to queue manager X (on A ), then it stop and machine B running load balancing and put a message MSG2 to queue manager X(on B).
but message MSG2 can not send to Queue Manager Y because number of index message not sequence. it requisite reset channel.
How I can't solve problem? may i using clustering to fixing problem. if It can, how I config clustering .

this kind of failover requires a reset channel. there is no way to get around this.
there are other (maybe better) failover solutions (mscs).
yes, clustering could be a solution, but keep in mind that clustering is not really a "failover" solution, because messages can remain unprocessed. it may only solve the "reset channel" problem. but for load balancing a mq cluster is fine.
read the "queue manager clusters" manual for mqseries cluster details. _________________ Regards, Butcher |
