We are currently investigating developing a web based client using .Net technologies. One topic that has come up is the question of scalability (ie how many users will the web server be able to handle).

I'd like to know if the web client uses any particular methods to handle scalability better?

Can anyone provide any particular lessons learned when implementing their own web based client?

There really is not much information regarding MQWF with .net. You should definitely have a look at support pac WD02 which has some excellent info on scalability.
